Billing Terms & Conditions

Welcome to ELVARA WORLD® . The following Billing Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made on our website. By placing an order with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms together with our Terms of Service, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy.

1. ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS

We accept the following secure payment methods at checkout:

  • Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Shop Pay
  • Shop Pay Installments

Klarna All payments are processed in U.S. Dollars (USD). If your card or account is denominated in another currency, your bank will apply its own exchange rate, which may include a small foreign transaction fee. These fees are set by your bank, not by ELVARA.

2. WHEN YOUR CARD IS CHARGED

Your selected payment method is authorized and charged in full at the time you place your order, unless you choose to pay through one of our supported buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) or installment partners.

We support flexible installment payments through trusted third-party providers, including:

  • Klarna — pay in 4 interest-free installments every two weeks, or split your purchase into longer monthly plans (subject to Klarna's approval).
  • Shop Pay Installments — split eligible orders into 4 interest-free payments, or longer-term financing on qualifying purchases (subject to Shop Pay's approval).
  • Other buy-now-pay-later options that may appear at checkout depending on your region and order value.

When you choose an installment option, your installment provider (not ELVARA) will run a soft credit check, approve or decline your payment plan, and manage your scheduled payments. Approval, fees, and repayment terms are set entirely by the installment provider — please review their terms before confirming your order. ELVARA receives the full payment from the provider upfront and ships your order in the same way as a regular purchase.

3. ORDER CONFIRMATION AND ACCEPTANCE

Receipt of your order confirmation email does not guarantee acceptance of your order. ELVARA reserves the right to verify, modify, or cancel any order at any time prior to dispatch, including but not limited to the following situations:

  • Suspected fraudulent activity or unauthorized use of a payment method
  • Pricing or product description errors on our site
  • Stock availability issues
  • Inability to verify the billing or shipping information you provided
  • Shipping destinations that we do not service, or where local regulations restrict the importation of our products (including electronic components such as LED lighting)

In the event we cancel your order before dispatch, we will issue a full refund to your original method of payment within 5–7 business days and notify you by email.

4. PRICING AND CURRENCY

All prices listed on our website are in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices may change at any time without prior notice, but the price displayed at the moment you complete checkout is the price you will be charged.

Promotional prices, discount codes, and limited-time offers are valid only during the period stated and only on eligible items. Discounts cannot be combined unless specifically permitted, and they cannot be applied retroactively to orders placed before or after the promotion.

Although we work hard to keep our website accurate, occasional errors in pricing or product descriptions may occur. If we discover an error after your order has been placed, we will contact you to confirm the correct price before processing the order, or offer to cancel and refund the order in full.

5. TAXES AND IMPORT DUTIES

Sales tax is calculated and displayed at checkout where applicable, based on your shipping destination.

For international orders, your country may charge import duties, customs fees, or VAT when the package enters your country. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the buyer. The customer is the importer of record and is responsible for compliance with their country's customs regulations.

ELVARA has no control over these fees and cannot reimburse them. We recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an international order if you are unsure about potential charges.

6. BILLING INFORMATION ACCURACY

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and account information for all purchases made at our store. This includes a valid billing address, billing zip/postal code, payment card details, expiration date, security code (CVV), and a working email address.

Inaccurate billing information is one of the most common causes of order delays. We may need to contact you to verify details before we can process and ship your order. If we cannot reach you within a reasonable time, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.

7. PAYMENT SECURITY

Your security is a top priority. Our website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to protect your personal and payment information during transmission. Payment processing is handled by trusted third-party providers (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna, and approved card networks) that comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

ELVARA does not store your full credit card number on our servers and never has access to your CVV.

8. FAILED OR DECLINED PAYMENTS

If your payment is declined at checkout, please first check the following with your card issuer:

  • Sufficient available balance on the card
  • Billing address matches what is on file with your bank
  • International transactions are enabled (for non-U.S. cards)
  • The card has not expired and is not blocked

If your card continues to be declined, please try an alternative payment method or contact your bank. We are not able to override decisions made by your card issuer.

8. FAILED OR DECLINED PAYMENTS

  • The card has not expired and is not blocked

9. CHARGEBACKS AND DISPUTED PAYMENTS

If you have a concern about an order — including a missing item, a damaged kit, a delivery question, or a billing question — please contact us first at cs@elvaraworld.com. We respond to all customer service inquiries within 1 business day and will do our best to resolve any issue quickly and fairly under our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.

Filing a chargeback before contacting us limits our ability to help you and may result in delays. By placing an order with ELVARA, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute directly with us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer.

Chargebacks filed in bad faith — including but not limited to:

  • Claiming non-delivery for an order with valid tracking confirmation showing delivery
  • Claiming non-receipt after a successful refund or replacement has already been processed
  • Disputing a charge for a product that was delivered as described
  • Filing a dispute outside the timelines defined in our Refund Policy

— will be contested with documentation provided to your card issuer, including order records, tracking data, communication history, and proof of delivery. Customers found to have filed fraudulent chargebacks may be banned from placing future orders.

10. REFUNDS

All refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Approved refunds are issued to the original method of payment within 5–7 business days from the date of approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

For installment payments through Klarna or Shop Pay Installments, refunds are processed back to your installment provider, who will then adjust your remaining payment schedule or return funds already paid. Please contact your provider directly for the timeline of these adjustments.

11. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND RECURRING CHARGES

At this time, ELVARA does not offer subscription products or recurring billing. Every order is a one-time purchase. You will only be charged for the items in your cart at the moment you complete checkout. We will never enroll you in any recurring billing program without your explicit consent.

12. CHANGES TO THESE BILLING TERMS

We may update these Billing Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our payment processing, applicable laws, or business operations. The most current version will always be available on this page, with the latest revision date noted at the top. Your continued use of our store after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
